1. The peristaltic pump produces suction and fluid delivery through the compression hose and the natural rebound of the hose. When the peristaltic pump does not work, loosen the pressure block of the pressure tube, so that the pump tube is in a natural state of no pressure, which can extend the service life of the pump tube.

2. The peristaltic pump should reduce the pump speed as far as possible under the premise of meeting the flow rate. The faster the speed of pump head, the shorter the service time of pump tube. Try to choose a large diameter of the pump, in order to reduce the speed of the pump, prolong the service life of the hose.

3. Pump head with peristaltic pump special pipe, the rest with ordinary pipe connection. Because the extruded tubes used on peristaltic pumps require good compressive resilience and tear resistance, these pump tubes have higher material purity, higher wall thickness and shape accuracy, and higher prices. So it's more affordable to use a regular tube as a connection.

4. The inlet of the peristaltic pump pipe should be as short as possible, and the joint and diameter of the pipe should not be lower than the diameter of the stuck pipe installed at the pump head. If the inlet pipe of the peristaltic pump is too long or the diameter is small, the resistance of the suction end will be too large. If the resistance is too large, the rebound of the pump pipe will be blocked, so the actual flow will lose a lot. Similarly, if the diameter of the outlet pipe is small or too long, the output flow rate will be reduced when the discharge resistance is too large because the discharge pressure of the peristaltic pump is usually small.

5. When choosing peristaltic pump, the theoretical flow should be greater than the actual flow. The peristaltic pump tube is soft, resulting in less negative pressure and discharge pressure. If the liquid is of a certain viscosity or the pipe is of a certain length, it will cause.

6. During the use of peristaltic pump, attention should be paid to cleaning the debris on the pump shell and pump pipe. The peristaltic pump mainly relies on the pump shell to maintain high precision clearance, so as to squeeze the pump pipe efficiently. If the liquid adheres to the pressure wheel, press block and pump tube of the pump housing, the compression clearance of the pump head will change, resulting in premature wear of the pump tube, which seriously affects the pump head and causes damage to the pump head.

7. When using peristaltic pump, the wear of pump pipe should be checked regularly. Because the peristaltic pump tube is vulnerable parts, once damaged will cause liquid leakage, so it is necessary to check whether the pump surface has early grinding, in order to prevent damage to the pump tube.

8. When selecting the peristaltic pump, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the liquid to be transported will corrod the pump pipe. It is necessary to carry out comparison or immersion experiment through the chemical phase solubility table to ensure that the pump pipe can be used.
